Capital Bhangra 2016 will be held on the afternoon of Sunday 6 March at The Great Hall, Queen Mary University of London, Mile End Road, London E1 4NS.
Ticket information can be found here.
I'm using public transport - how can I get to the venue?
The closest tube station to The Great Hall is Mile End, which is served by the Central Line, the District Line and the Hammersmith & City Line. The short walk from the station to the venue takes no more than 5 minutes. We do not expect there to be any planned engineering works that will affect this tube station on Sunday 6 March, but please do check Transport for London’s website when planning your travel.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes. You have two options:
(1) There are a limited number of spaces at a staff car park on site from where it is a five minute walk across campus to The Great Hall. These will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and require you to show your tickets or email confirmation if you are collecting at the Box Office. The postcode remains E1 4NS but you need to turn off Mile End Road into Westfield Way ‘East Gate Entrance’ from where security will direct you the rest of the way.
(2) There are numerous spaces on neighbouring residential roads that are free from parking restrictions on Sunday and are anywhere up to a ten minute walk from the venue. The most prominent of these roads is Bancroft Road which turns off Mile End Road.
I'm collecting tickets at the Box Office - what do I need to show?
You simply need to quote the order number from when you made your purchase online (found in your confirmation email) and confirm your name and email address when asked at the Box Office. There is no need to print out your confirmation email, but having a digital copy to hand might help.
